Grow the F up May 18, 2010

Can’t people grow up? If you can’t use the comments section of websites like adults then you should be tazered and sterilized. I was reading an article about a woman who wore the same dress (one of seven copies actually) for a year. She accessorized it differently, creating different outfits. Her fashion tastes were a little pushing the envelope. It wasn’t necessarily Midwestern office wear. That was not the point. Her point was to try utilizing what you have, using thrift stores and trying something different. We don’t need to buy whole new wardrobes ever season. And she did this to raise money, helping send 233 children to school for a year. This sounds like a good effort, meaningful and interesting little article except for the comments. Why do people over the age of 21 (technically an adult) feel the need to tear apart how someone is helping others? Why would you sit on your ass at the computer wasting time typing things like she’s ugly or her outfits ugly instead of understanding how her design philosophy could work for you. Or, hell, how about coming up with an idea that helps your community or the world around you. If you are too closed minded or simple it can be explained to you slowly. If you don’t have anything of value to say then shut your ignorant, childish trap. And, you wonder where our children learned to use the internet to bully others.
